Win Norwex Cloths and more! 1K Giveaway {Day 6}

This giveaway is now closed!  Congratulations to winners Renee and Kelly!

I can’t believe we’ve gotten to Day 6 of the giveaway!  Monday and Tuesday’s giveaways are closed, but you still have time to enter the others!

product_6

Today, I am happy to give away some of my favorite products: Norwex!  Norwex is a company committed to truly green cleaning.  They have developed a high-quality microfiber fiber that is imbedded with silver threads.  The microfiber is so powerful, you can clean anything with nothing but water.  Plus, Silver is naturally antibacterial, so after cleaning, all you have to do is rinse out and hang the cloths and they will self-purify in time for the next cleaning.

Norwex

*Actual prize package will include several different products, including a body cloth, pictured above.

My friend Andrea is the one who introduced me to Norwex by sending me a box full of stuff.  I had no idea what to do with half of it, and now I can’t live without it!  She is giving away a body care package to one winner!  This includes a body cloth, a face cloth, and Norwex’s luxurious chapstick.  If you want to know more about these great cloths, read the review I did about them for another giveaway, or visit Andrea’s website and earn a second entry!

My second prize for the day comes from another West Coast Christian Blogger-buddy, Vicki Lucas.  She is a Christian fiction writer–a Christian fantasy writer, to be exact.  She wrote the book Toxic for the young adult audience (but since when should the teenagers have all the fun?).

Toxic

Now, I am a big fan of the fiction genre, and it is my belief that Christians should be more involved in the creative arts, including Christian fiction.  I am always a little (a lot) disappointed that the majority of Christian fiction is romance.  HOWEVER…I won’t talk about that now.

Instead, let’s take a look into Vicki’s imagination:

“Toxic is the first in a series set in Eltiria where Kai, Taryn, and Lizzy have to purify the toxic water before anyone else dies. If they don’t, evil may rule the world forever. A Winged Horse sets them on the search to locate the source of the poison, escape from the monsters, and to find their faith while battling to see the truth in a world of chaos and destruction.”

Don’t worry if you get hooked on it–she’s writing a sequel!  Check out her Facebook page to keep informed of her progress!

How to Enter

1) I like to keep giveaways simple.  All you have to do to be entered for this giveaway is to comment below!  That’s it!  It would be fabulous if you also subscribed to my blog, followed me on Twitter, or liked my Facebook page, but I can’t make that a requirement because of Facebook policies (and it also complicates things and that sort of defeats the whole “simple” thing).

2) Now, I know some of you are over-achievers and want to do more to increase your chances of winning.  Okay. Here you go: you  may earn extra entries by visiting and commenting on our sponsors’ blogs, Facebook, or Twitter pages.  Why not subscribe, like, or follow them while you’re there?  Come back here and leave a separate comment to let me know you went a-visiting so I can enter your name twice.

3) Share any story from Five in Tow that has impacted you.  You can even share the giveaway!  Comment below (in a separate comment from any of the above) with the title of the post you shared and you’ll earn a third entry.

4) This giveaway will remain open for three days.  I will draw two winners on February 4 at 4 pm PST and notify the winners.  Prizes will be delivered by the sponsors within 4-6 weeks.

5) Don’t forget!  You still have two days to enter yesterday’s giveaway if you have not already done so, along with the previous two days of giveaways!  Wednesday’s giveaway closes today at 4 pm PST.  Don’t miss it!   Come back tomorrow for two more great prizes!  You can see the complete list here.

Date Night Giveaways: 1K Giveaway Day 5

This giveaway is now closed!  Thank you for participating!

It’s Friday and we’re celebrating Date Night here at Five in Tow.  I’ve got three great prizes to make date night–or any night–special!

First, I’m giving away a second Rekindling Romance e-kit from Jason and Jami Balmet.

Rekindling Romance E-kit

This e-kit arrives just in time for some fun Valentine’s Day planning.  I love the fact that every single idea in this kit is fun and do-able no matter what the budget or circumstances (like the babysitter cancels).  It’s a date night in your in-box!

Don’t forget to hop over to Jami’s Facebook page or website for an extra entry.  You’ll be blessed!

Next, my friend Sunny is sending one winner a box of Belgian chocolates from her home in Belgium!  I do not have a picture of these aforementioned chocolates because they have not yet arrived, and when they do arrive, I will not be taking any pictures of them because if I do, I will eat them.  All. Of. Them.

So.  No photos.  Instead, I will share Sunny, who has been a friend of mine (across the miles) for many, many years.  She is now teaching Spanish and French to high school students on a NATO base in Belgium.  Sunny loves to explore, and when she does, she brings us beautiful stories and pictures like this:

I love reading her blog and living vicariously through her!  I’m kind of praying that if my husband’s application to Active Duty chaplaincy is accepted, we’ll get stationed right there by the chocolates beautiful scenery.  Read her stories and you’ll see why!

My final prize for our Date Night Giveaway was donated by my very favorite reader (besides my husband):  my mom!  She reads every one of my posts and has always supported me (except in this case).  My mom is also an avid knitter, crocheter, and purveyor of all things crafty.  Growing up, I was always wearing something handmade just for me.

My Mom, aka Auntie Annie, is rewarding one of my readers with a made-to-order scarf.   She will give you style and color options and you can choose!

Striped scarf

Hand knit, hand dyed wool scarf. Thanks, sheep!

Glitter scarf

Made with yarn from Italy, the glitter scarf will brighten up any winter wardrobe!

My mom and my step-dad run a little hobby farm my grandparents started.  It is filled with obstinate sheep (my words, not theirs).  They harvest the wool, and Grandma and Mom dye it themselves, spin it, and make it into all sorts of wonderfulness.  You can read all about the little farm that holds my heart at their website.  If you love natural fibers or are looking for some fantastic wool batting for quilts, this is your place!

love-you-quilt-2

My mother would kill me if I posted her picture online. Instead, her she is in quilt form.

Win a Necklace and More! 1K Giveaway: Day 3

This giveaway is now closed!  Congratulations to Amy and Christy, our winners!

Today’s giveaway items have been causing a little bit of a buzz over at my Facebook page because of their awesomeness.

First, one reader will win the fabulous Getting It Together e-book by Kayse Pratt.

Meet Kayse

Meet Kayse

Kayse is the mom of a little pig-tailed princess and the wife of a conductor–as in music, not trains.  She is funny and honest, two traits I love to see in fellow bloggers.  When I read what she writes, I feel like she’s right there with me, not preaching, but encouraging.

Kayse is about to release her fist book because she is awesome and I’m not at all jealous (ahem), yet somehow, in the middle of all the writing and rewriting, she found time to give us this tremendous resource: Getting It Together: Your Guide to Setting Up a Home Organization System That Works.

Getting it Together

What I love about this system is that it is simple.  It’s user friendly.  And because it is, I don’t procrastinate doing it.  That means it works!  Even for a completely disorganized person like myself, I feel so much better just getting this printed off and getting started.  Having important information organized frees my brain to think about and do other things.

Like coffee.

And writing.

Maybe that’s how Kayse got her book deal!  Hmmm.

One more thing: Kayse’s book is super affordable, especially if you purchase it today or tomorrow because it’s on sale for 30% off!   Just enter code JANSPECIAL30 to get Getting It Together only $2.79.  That’s cheaper than a latte.

Mighty River
Our second prize today comes from The Mighty River Project.  This ministry seeks to change the problem of poverty in Uganda by training and employing mothers so they can care for their own children.  It is a mighty work!  But I love the fact that Erin and and Scott Littleton are willing to take the first steps toward big change.  You can help them by following their ministry on Facebook.  Also, consider purchasing items from their store the next time you need a gift!
“Like a river changes the landscape around it drop by drop,
inch by inch, little by little,
The Mighty River Project seeks to shape its community with small,
sustainable changes that will impact generations.”
Poke around their store and you will find beautiful handmade baskets and jewelry made by the artisans in their program.  The baskets are amazing and very reasonably priced, especially if you consider how much impact the purchase of one basket can make.
Green basket
But let’s not forget about the necklaces!
Bead necklace
The necklaces are all so pretty, it’s going to be hard for one reader to choose which one she wants for a prize!  The Mighty River Project has graciously donated a necklace choice to our random winner.  Which is your favorite?

So…how do you enter today’s giveaway?
