A celebration is in order!  Fiveintow just reached 700 fans on Facebook, so once again, I am hosting a giveaway to thank you for your continued support. I have the best readers!  Thank you all for reading and sharing my blog.  Because of you, we continue to grow!

    Fun Fact: I found a $150 Starbucks gift card for $100 while I was perusing Craigslist yesterday. I thought, “Who sells a gift card worth $150 for $100 to a place like Starbucks?”. I read the description and the person selling it says it was a gift and they don’t really like Starbucks. So then I thought, “Who spends $150 on a gift card for someone if they’re not absolutely sure the person receiving the gift card will even like it?”. Haha, people these days.

    I need to share the “How to Get Your Toddler To Eat Anything” with another Mommy friend. She was just sharing her exasperation with me over the fact that her just-turned-one year old threw all his food off his tray and only ate it after he was put down on the floor and could crawl under the high chair to get it.

    Dear Kristen,

    I have enjoyed many of your stories, but I’ll quote from one titled “The Dun-Gym” here: “Ms. Miller didn’t understand about free throw gum either, even though she was the assistant gym teacher. She was the only teacher I had ever known who wasn’t a Miss or a Missus. I didn’t even know there was a third option, but I kind of thought Ms. Miller made it up for herself because she was getting too old to be a Miss but hadn’t quite made it to Missus yet. Ms. Miller was some kind of angry in-between.”

    My first thought was %$#@, followed by a huge exhale!!! 😉 I was not the only one!
    The first catch was the grocery store post, & further chaotic unique moments ( now cherished memories), were infact, NOT so unique! And 1 thing I did know was that nobody could just dream up “moments/experiences” as such!

    LOL! I adore your blog. I “shared” your post about the Halloween candy the other day. I’m one of those people who makes more candy with the extra candy!

    I also was reading a FB post of a friend who lives in Australia. She just had her third child (and third boy) a couple of months age and had a grocery cart fiasco today (or was it last night?…I dunno, it’s in Backwards Land) I HAD to send her the link to your shopping-cart-of-horror story.
