Today, my friend Abbie invited me over to her place. She’s a mom of five just like me, including twins, just like me. Since Abbie is so much like me, I figured she would sympathize with one of my mom-problems: how to get the children to leave me alone when the bathroom door closes.
Am I the only one whose children think going to the bathroom is a group activity? I think not.
Mothers of the World, it’s time we reclaim the loo. Join me over at Five Days 5 Ways and find out my devious plan to help us do just that.
OMG! So funny: going to the loo, a group activity. Yes, I’ve been there. I’m completely ok with leaving the door open (except when there’s people over) when in the loo now. The children, however, do reach an age when this is no longer acceptable. The moral being, this too is a stage, whose end will come. I really LOL’d!!
Haha! I’m going to implement these with my two. Well, the long division will come later, but I’m all for the grout cleaning! 🙂
I have 5 children as well…with one on the way. As I read your blog I am chuckling with how alike our lives are lol. I have not been to.the bathroom alone..in years lol. Sometimes I hear people with one or two children saying this and I often think “try 5”. Bc there is no sneaking away from 5. Inevitably..one or two will find you and alert the rest lol
