This is so very true! Why is it so difficult to keep this thought always in the forefront of my mind? That my children don’t “interrupt” what I’m doing, be it dishes or mopping or cooking dinner or scheduling dr’s appts–Rather my children ARE what I’m here at home to do. Spit-up, diaper changes, sibling spats, wiping noses. . . My job is to show them Christ, by faithfully, lovingly mothering in a godly way through all the seemingly “mundane” details of their lives. Thank you for these reminders! So necessary yet so often obscured by all the “important, urgent, pressing” things in my life.

Hello, I am following you on wordpress and via email, but I would really like to be able to get your posts on my reader. I am new to the whole blogging game, so I’m not exactly sure how it works, but I tried clicking your RSS icon and got a bunch of gobbley gook. Is there a way to follow you on a reader?
When you click on the RSS link, all you have to do is grab the web address (http://fiveintow.com/feed/) and enter it into your reader. The reader will then translate the gobbley gook. 🙂
I just had someone ask me the same question on my blog. 🙂

Great thing to remember.

Hmm…I am not sure. I’m so technologically inept. Let me ask some bloggy friends and get back to you! Thanks for following me and reading along!
